Darren Fach has been an associate at McLeod & Company since 1992 and became a Partner of the firm on January 1, 2000. His primary practice areas are securities, and corporate/commercial and mining law. This includes acting for issuers and corporate financing groups or institutions on initial public offerings, exchange listings, equity and debt financings, regulatory compliance, mergers, arrangements, take-overs and related public company transactions. He is also a member of the firm’s mining group and oversees the firm’s Corporate Records Department which manages private, public and extra-provincially registered companies. Mr. Fach attended the University of Manitoba where he received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1989. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1990 and has practiced law in Calgary since that time.

Member of the Business Law and Securities subsections of the Canadian Bar Association
Current or past commentator or volunteer lecturer on business law and securities issues to a number of community and professional groups, including Momentum (a community economic development organization) and the Calgary Mineral Exploration Group.
Current or past member, volunteer or coach of several other not-for-profit societies, community organizations and minor sports associations.
