Brent Cooper has many years of experience acting for businesses of all sizes and in virtually all types of industries. He has also acted for school divisions, police departments, municipal governments and other organizations. His extensive trial experience includes appearing before Courts in all four Western Canadian provinces. Mr. Cooper is also very active providing employment advice to a wide range of businesses. He regularly does employment law seminars for small and mid-size businesses. He was originally called to the Bar in Manitoba in 1988, where he had a varied litigation practice. Brent Cooper was called to the Alberta bar in 2000, when he joined the firm, and became a Partner in 2004.

Professional and Community Activities

Mr. Cooper regularly provides free employment law seminars to businesses. Mr. Cooper is a member of the Board of Directors for Cantare Children's Choir, and Bishop Grandin Band Parents Association Fundraising Committee.  In the past, he was president of the Ecole St. Cecilia Charitable Society.  He is also one of the firm's two TAGLaw contacts, and the head of the firm's Litigation department.

Mr. Cooper and his family enjoy sports and cultural activities in the city.
