Mr. Steinfeld practiced law for many years in Manitoba before joining McLeod & Company in 2002, becoming a partner with the firm in 2005.
In Manitoba he was a partner with one of the largest firms in Winnipeg and practiced at all levels of Court in Manitoba. He has also participated in numerous Judicial Dispute Resolution Conferences and Mediations.
After relocating to Calgary Mr. Steinfeld has continued to practice in areas of civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice and employment law, and has appeared in the Court of Queen’s Bench in Alberta.
He is Chair of the Litigation Group at McLeod & Company LLP.
Professional and Community Activities
Throughout his career Barry Steinfeld has always been engaged in many activities in support of community life.
While in Manitoba he was active in regulatory and policy issues involving public policy issues in that province.
Mr. Steinfeld is currently vice-chairperson of the Calgary Jewish Community Centre.
