Jackie is a member of McLeod & Company's Civil Litigation group. Jackie practices in the areas of insurance and health law, with a particular focus on personal injury, including catastrophic personal injury cases. Jackie articled at McLeod & Company LLP in 1990, and has practiced in all areas of civil litigation from that time, including appearances in all levels of Courts in Alberta. She has a wide range of civil litigation experience in the areas of insurance law, WCB appeals, employment and other general civil litigation. She has participated extensively in alternative dispute resolution, including numerous mediations and Judicial Dispute Resolutions.

Jackie was born and raised in Calgary. She studied Political Science and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary, with a minor in Psychology in 1987. She then attended the University of Calgary Law School, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Laws. During law school, she worked as a researcher for the Research unit for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Calgary, as well as working for a major law firm.

Jackie is involved as a busy volunteer on numerous other political and community organizations. She is married, with two children. Her spare time is filled with travel, notorious driving for hockey and dance activities for her children, and she is an avid athlete.
