David earned his first degree, a Bachelor of Kinesiology with distinction, at the University of Calgary, before attending the University of Alberta where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2005.
David articled with McLeod & Company, was called to the Alberta Bar in August 2006, and remains with the firm as an associate in the Corporate/Commercial Department.
During his student tenure, he was an active member of Student Legal Services. He also spent two summers with Calgary Legal Guidance, providing legal assistance to economically and socially disadvantaged individuals.
Professional and Community Activities
David continues to volunteer with Calgary Legal guidance, offering individuals advice in the areas of civil law, landlord/tenant and employment law.
He is a certified fitness trainer and participates in running races.
