Ryan Franzen spent several years in banking while earning a degree in Commerce with a specialization in Finance at the University of British Columbia. He later attended Law School at the University of Alberta, and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2008. After articling with McLeod & Company, Ryan joined the firm as an Associate in its corporate, commercial and securities department. His financial background and legal training have made him a valuable addition to the corporate team. He currently provides legal advice to small and mid sized corporations, and has acted for corporations listed on the stock exchange. Ryan deals with private placements, corporate structuring, employment and shareholder agreements, financing, partnerships, business contracts and related matters.
Ryan began his legal career in the corporate department at McLeod & Company’s Gulf Canada Square Office and due to the growing corporate department is now located the firm’s Bannister Road office.
