Shannon Wilson joined McLeod & Company LLP as an articling student in 2008 before her call to the Alberta Bar in 2009. Prior to and during law school, Shannon assisted the Firm as a summer student. Shannon remains with the Firm as an associate in the Corporate/Commercial Department working on a variety of Corporate Organizations and Financings.
Shannon received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary in 2008. Throughout law school, Shannon volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked with the Family Law Project. Before law school she attended the University of Saskatchewan where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and graduated with distinction. While going to school in Saskatchewan, Shannon was a varsity athlete and played for the U of S Huskies women’s hockey team. She maintains an active lifestyle through regular workouts, yoga and continuing her hockey career with a team in the Southern Alberta Women’s Hockey Association.
Shannon is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
