John has extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta. He is also skilled in alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation and judicial dispute resolution. He has acted as counsel for a variety of clientele ranging from individuals to multinational corporations including major insurers and energy companies. He has been a regular instructor of chambers advocacy for the Alberta bar admission course (CPLED) and has lectured for the Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA). 

John earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction (International Business/Finance) from the University of Alberta in 2000 and his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta in 2004. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2005 and the Northwest Territories Bar in 2009.
