Chris is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group at McLeod Law. He advises businesses and individuals on commercial disputes and issues with a focus on construction and employment-related matters.
Chris has appeared before all levels of court in the province of Alberta in contested applications, trials, and appeals.

- Chris helps employees understand their rights in wrongful dismissal claims, non-competition and non-solicitation disputes, and human rights claims. He also advises employers, providing proactive employment law advice on policies, contracts, and disciplinary issues.
- In his construction practice, he has experience working with general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers with builders’ liens, delay claims, deficiency claims, and collections.
- Pott v. Brasso Nissan Ltd., 2015 ABPC 17: Successfully represented a dismissed employee establish his entitlement to pay in lieu of notice following a wrongful dismissal.
- Ho v. Security National Insurance Company, 2015 ABPC 202: Successfully represented the Plaintiff in a dispute between him, his insurer, and the condominium corporation in a dispute over who was responsible for the cost of repairs following a water leak in the plaintiff’s condo.
