Mel represents clients in various transactions, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, reverse takeovers and private placements. Recent transactions include:
- Assisted Cematrix Corporation (TSX-V) in its $23 million short form prospectus public offering of common shares co-led by Gravitas Securities and Clarus Securities
- Assisted Carbeeza Ltd. in a reverse takeover transaction with TSX-V listed target company
- Assisted private resource development and exploration company in an upsized private placement financing of flow-through special warrants
Mel also advises clients with respect to compliance with corporate and securities regulatory requirements relating to stock exchange listings, corporate governance and continuous disclosure obligations.
