Aidan Henderson is a litigation lawyer with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals and businesses navigate complex civil and commercial disputes. Known for his practical, strategic approach and calm judgment under pressure, Aidan focuses on delivering efficient, results-driven solutions for his clients.
Aidan Henderson was called to the Alberta Bar in 2010 and has developed a broad litigation practice grounded in more than fifteen years of work on complex commercial and civil litigation matters and continues to act for clients in disputes involving corporate, contractual, real property, debt recovery, and construction, related issues.
Aidan completed his undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Calgary before working as an assistant to a Member of Parliament. He was also actively involved in several federal and provincial political campaigns. This experience in policy, governance, and strategic communication informs his disciplined, solutions-oriented advocacy style.
Outside his legal practice, Aidan is an accomplished hockey official who worked elite levels of amateur and professional hockey, including for the Western Hockey League and the American Hockey League. He currently works as an officiating coach for the Alberta Junior Hockey League mentoring younger officials. His officiating background reflects the qualities his clients rely on: fairness, composure, and the ability to manage conflict with clarity and decisiveness.
Aidan volunteers with Student Legal Assistance and has contributed to the Court of Queen’s Bench Amicus Project and Calgary Legal Guidance, in addition to supporting various Calgary-area charitable organizations.
He is a volunteer hockey coach with the Bow River Hockey Association and the North West House League. His dedication to community service and access to justice remains a defining part of his professional identity. He is the proud father of two children and also fosters dogs through and for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society. In his spare time, Aidan enjoys hiking and camping in the mountains and, naturally, coaching and watching hockey.
