Alberta Land Surveyors' Association AGM

Laurie Kiedrowski and Jamie Polley of the Condominium Law group will be speaking at the Alberta Land Surveyors Association AGM in Banff on condominium legal matters, from project planning and governance, to court proceedings.

In this interactive questions and answer seminar, Laurie Kiedrowski will discuss condominium plans and the associated acts and regulations. She will advise on project planning, unit factors allocation, the pros and cons of titled parking spots, the risks associated with making the units look bigger by including walls in building dimensions and how to dissolve a condominium corporation.

Jamie Polley will review the court process regarding judge's orders to amend and/or correct survey plans, including condominium plans, to remove unnecessary instruments from title, to dispense with consent to registration of a plan of subdivision and will provide examples of those procedures. Jamie will also address any general questions relating to potential involvement in the court system.
