Practicing with McLeod Law’s Real Estate group, Daniel is involved from “dirt to final product and all the steps in between.” He also works with a variety of clients, including commercial developers, banks, borrowers, residential purchasers, start-ups and agricultural interests.

Through it all, Daniel helps clients navigate what can be a tricky process. He especially enjoys the face-to-face interactions. “I love sitting with them to explain how it all works. It’s an exciting time, as they buy a big piece of land, sell their first property or acquire a property for redevelopment.”

When Daniel was contemplating a move from his last firm a couple years ago, he looked at a few others. But McLeod’s “great mix of big and small” appealed to him. “It has the resources of a big firm, but we’re not overly rule-oriented. And I’m not just a number.” A couple of his colleagues even came with him.

In his off-hours, Daniel’s proving he’s up for a challenge. He joined the board of Lunchbox Theatre … mere months before the pandemic cancelled the season. Now they are in the midst of figuring out the theatre’s role in this new world. He has his work cut out for him at home too — keeping up with a toddler who’s learning to walk.
