McLeod Law Update to our Clients in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
It has been eight weeks since we closed our physical offices and began to work remotely. During that time we have continued to service our client’s needs through creative solutions, while safeguarding the health of our people. Like all organizations, we have had to review our systems with a view to maintaining physical distancing, while still executing our roles as trusted legal advisors. We have implemented procedures, such as virtual and drive-thru signings, video mediations and questionings, and remote interviews and consultations.
We are pleased that our years of investment in technology have allowed us to seamlessly transition to remote working. We understand that our provincial health authorities have authorized a gradual and phased reopening of the Alberta economy. We are monitoring these developments, but for the time being we will continue to operate as we have for the last eight weeks.
Our clients and the public have had many questions about the impact of COVID-19 on the legal landscape. We have answered many of these questions by hosting webinars, writing articles and participating in Q & A sessions.
Please refer to our COVID-19 Resources for more updates.

We hope that you, your loved ones and friends remain healthy and safe. If you have questions please call one of our lawyers — we're here to assist you.
