Breton is a partner in McLeod Law’s Business Law group. He practices in business and corporate/commercial law, corporate finance and securities.
Before becoming a lawyer, Breton ran a residential concrete business. He has degrees in economics and biology, and is a Red Seal concrete finisher.
Outside of work, Breton enjoys time with his family and being outdoors.

Experience
- Assisted TSX-V listed, Quorum Information Technologies Inc. in securing $9.2 million in financing through the issuance of common shares in a bought deal private placement offering to a syndicate of underwriters
- Acted for Cematrix Corporation (TSX-V) in its acquisition of all outstanding shares of Pacific International Grout Co. and related bank financing
- Acted for private company in complex multi-party reorganization, share acquisition and related financing
- Advised clients in establishing a limited partnership structure for the formation of a private equity fund
- Acted for private company in private placement debt and equity private placement
- Acted as Canadian counsel for clients in cross border acquisition of Canadian private company and the structuring of Canadian purchasing entity
- Assisted private company in reverse take-over of TSX-V listed target company
