Georgia is an Articling Student with McLeod Law. Having joined the firm as a summer student following her first year of law school, Georgia returned for a second summer before beginning her articles with the firm.

Prior to attending law school, Georgia worked as a Legal Assistant and Office Manager at a boutique criminal and family law firm and later served as a Judicial Assistant in the Office of the Chief Justice of the Alberta Court of Justice. These roles provided her with valuable experience in legal practice, court processes, and client service, which helped shape her decision to pursue a career in law.

Throughout her legal studies, Georgia sought opportunities to complement her academic coursework with practical experience. As a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance, she helped improve access to justice by providing low-cost and no-cost legal services to community members and students, gaining hands-on experience in client advocacy and dispute resolution.

Georgia obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2026, after earning a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2020. As part of a law school exchange in Helsinki, Finland, she focused her studies on international law and human rights in authoritarian regimes. During this time, she examined international accountability mechanisms and responses to human rights violations, broadening her perspective on the role of law in addressing complex legal and societal challenges.

Outside of the office, Georgia enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants, watching movies, and spending time with her miniature dachshund.
