It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Steinfeld on Friday, July 20, 2018. At the age of 68 years, he lost his courageous battle with cancer.

Barry enjoyed a 40-year career in law which started in 1974 and ended upon his retirement as a partner at McLeod Law in 2018. Barry graduated from the University of Manitoba Law School and began his career in Winnipeg. In 2002, he moved his family to Calgary and joined McLeod Law where he became a partner and worked until he fell ill. 

Barry was well regarded by the legal community in Winnipeg and Calgary, where he was a mentor to junior associates and gave seminars on personal injury law with his peers. Barry never shied away from hard work; he always gave 120%, from his schoolwork, professional work and his recreational pursuits. 

Highly respected by his peers, co-workers and clients, Barry will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
