McLeod Law acted as Alberta counsel to Cornerstone Capital Resources (“Cornerstone”) in its merger with Australian gold and copper miner, SolGold plc (“SolGold”). The merger transaction was announced around October 2022 and Cornerstone secured shareholder approval and court approval to proceed with the merger in January 2023. The transaction was valued was approximately CAD$160 million.
