HRIA 2016 Conference

Brent Cooper and Shane King in our Employment & Labour group will present on 'Rehiring Considerations in an Economic Upturn' at the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA) 2016 Annual Conference in Calgary.

They will explain the following:

• Retention and rehiring strategies
• What is a "recommencement bonus" and how does it work?
• What is a "retention bonus" and how does it work?
• Should each and every employee rehired be required to sign a written employment agreement?

We will also discuss strategies that selling shareholders may adopt in the case of demands, and the predicament and role of Human Resources Managers in this situation.
