McLeod Law Advises Aja Health and Wellness Inc. on Sale of GOeVisit Assets to Novus Health

June 16, 2026

Aja Health and Wellness Inc. (TSXV: AJA) has announced the sale of certain assets associated with its GOeVisit telehealth platform to Health Care Services International Inc., operating as Novus Health, for a purchase price of $1.15 million CAD.

The transaction was completed pursuant to an Asset Purchase Agreement dated June 1, 2026, between Aja Health Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aja Health and Wellness, and Novus Health. The assets sold include technology and intellectual property related to Aja's telehealth business.

According to Aja CEO and Director Sanjeev Parsad, the transaction supports the company's strategic priorities while positioning GOeVisit for continued growth across Canada.

For Novus Health, the acquisition represents a significant enhancement of its healthcare assistance platform. By integrating virtual primary care capabilities, Novus aims to strengthen its ability to help Canadians navigate healthcare services with greater speed, clarity, and support.

Commenting on the acquisition, Novus Health CEO Jamie Marcellus noted that the future of healthcare lies in connected care experiences that combine access, guidance, and support, rather than virtual care alone.

The transaction marks an important step for both organizations as they focus on expanding access to healthcare services and improving patient experiences through technology-enabled solutions.

The McLeod Law team was led by Maria Nathanail, with support from Ivana Palacios.
