Ivana brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her corporate commercial practice, helping entrepreneurs and business owners navigate legal complexities with clarity and confidence. She advises clients on a range of matters including incorporations, shareholder agreements, business structuring, and commercial transactions.

Ivana first joined McLeod Law as a summer student in 2022 and returned for articling after completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Calgary. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and Society and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, which inform her ability to understand both the legal and human elements of business decision-making.

Before law school, Ivana worked in the non-profit and financial sectors, gaining experience in program coordination and client service. During her legal studies, she volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and participated in the Business Venture Clinic, where she supported startups with legal guidance.

Known for her collaborative style and practical mindset, Ivana is committed to helping clients find solutions that align with their goals and values. She believes in building lasting relationships through clear communication and responsive service.

Outside of work, Ivana enjoys staying active through regular walks and workouts, watching docuseries, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
