With more than 20 years of experience in strategic tax structuring and cross-border transactions, Jennifer will lead and collaborate with McLeod Law’s established team of tax lawyers to deliver even greater value to clients across both our business and personal service areas. 

Jennifer’s practice spans complex corporate and international tax planning, including cross-border expansion, acquisitions and divestitures, post-acquisition integrations, corporate reorganizations, debt restructuring, financings, and Indigenous taxation. Her arrival further enhances the firm’s ability to provide sophisticated cross-border structuring, reorganizations, and high-value planning at a competitive price point.

Prior to joining McLeod Law, Jennifer was senior tax counsel at a national law firm and an international tax partner at a national accounting firm. She has advised clients across industries including infrastructure, oil and gas, mining, real estate, and technology. In addition to her client work, Jennifer frequently writes and speaks on Canadian corporate and international tax topics.
